Brows are the picture frame of the eye and they can take years off a face. Emmy Award winning celebrity makeup artist Melanie Mills says that this spring, eyebrows and eyelashes serves a specific esthetic on the face. Lashes are intensely feminine and really make an eye makeup pop. The eyebrows are now vying for some extra love; a fuller brow this spring demands that you invest in some products you may not have otherwise purchased. Mills recommends investing in Anastasia, SENNA or MAC brow products and also in powder or a pencil in a neutral color or as close to your natural hair color as possible. If you elect a pencil, make sure it has a diffuser brush on the end. Eyebrow stencils can help you refine the line and fill in the shape of your brow. Feather color from the top and fill in the brows from the top down, never the reverse. Make sure you brush the color through the hairs with a diffuser brush, then “seal” with a clear brow gel.
