In celebration of Black History Month, I’m shouting out 11 of my favorite Black makeup artists. These are some of the most amazing top-of-the-line beauty pros in the industry!

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing or meeting almost all of these people. I even had the honor of collaborating with some of these talented makeup professionals. These amazing artists definitely all have a commonality that I’m drawn to which is one of my favorite things: gorgeous juicy skin and fun vibes.

Sheika is incredibly talented. As a top makeup artist you’ll find her work on covers of magazines like Marie Claire. You may also know her as Zendaya’s longtime makeup artist (seen here in my Gleam Face and Body Radiance in Rose Gold). In addition, Sheika is the creator of handcrafted and celebrity-worn Elora Lane Lashes.

Keita went to art school and turned that knowledge into makeup brilliance, working with major beauty brand campaigns and the biggest stars in music. His inherent artistry makes him one of the best makeup artists in the country!

Esther is a professional makeup artist and fine artist, sharing the love of her art through teaching a masterclass series. Esther may be based in London but this jetsetting pro travels around the world “painting” celebrities like Ari Lennox, Jourdan Dunn, and Gabrielle Union.
